Images no longer rescale to fit mobile after changing my theme

Hi,
Recently I switched my site to a simpler theme as I was getting lots of error messages after running my previous theme for a few years. Now that I have switched most of my stats are fine, but my image and video size no longer automatically adapt to mobile (and I also suspect tablet) modes. I upload my images externally so it’s the image block that isn’t resizing where it always used to do this just fine.
Can anyone help me? I am on the Creatio 2 template as it allowed for a higher level of customization. After installing the template I found out the installment didn’t delete the old template fully as the navigation bar at the top is still from my old template. Maybe it has to do with that? My views have been going down drastically ever since the switch and since the latest Google update it’s even taken another drastic cut.
I have had this website since 2010 so I am not willing to start afresh. Signed up for a free wordpress.com at that time, but switched to a business account a few years ago. Any help is appreciated.

I figured out what the issue is. I don’t have a fix yet but I will ask support in a different way.
