images no longer showing

  My images are no longer showing on the blog. I have tried clearing cache/cookies but no change. I am using Twenty Ten theme. I checked Media Library and the tumbnails are not showing either. I went to Edit Media and clicked Edit Image and the image is there ok. I am not sure whether this is a path issue? As an example the file path to one image is:

  That image shows up, with the http not capitalized. Which post is it in?

  none of my images are showing for me. I am using Firefox 6.0.1. It seems not to find the images path.

  I see all the images in your posts just fine in Firefox 6.0.1 Safari 5.1 and Opera. None are missing.

  Go to your preferences in Firefox, go to the “content” tab and make sure it is set to download and show images.

  Ok I checked the tools/options/content tab and the load images is ticked. I have downloaded Chrome and my images are not showing on that browser either.

  This sounds like an issue with your internet service provider. ISPs use “invisible” proxy servers to speed things up for their customers, and to also lower their bandwidth usage and if that invisible proxy server is messed up, that can cause these issues.

  You can try the nuclear option and reboot your modem and see if that takes care of the issue for you.

  If it is happening with two different browsers then it is not a browser issue.

  Most frustrating, I have not been able to resolve this. Which means I can no longer use WP as I have no editing view of my images in the media gallery. What I notice on my older posts, which were pre-WP and hosted at Win Live, those images are visible to me. I will have to figure out either a work-around solution or failing that abandon WP.

  As of this morning 14/9/2011 the problem has corrected by itself. I have not made any changes and everything is back to normal, the images on blog and Media Library are visible. Pity cannot identify the cause of the problem for future reference – case closed.
