Images not appearing on Facebook posts

  My automatic posting to Facebook from WordPress works fine, but the thumbnail image no longer appears at the side of the text. This worked fine before, but stopped a few months ago for some reason.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We likewise unaware of how you are automatically posting to Facebook ie. which method you are using.
  We are also unaware of whether of not your are referring to a Facebook fan page or profile page.

  Sorry for the lack of info.
  The blog is:
  http://bridgesandtangents.wordpress.com/
  The method of automatic posting to Facebook is:
  ‘Publicize’ Facebook from the Publish box on the Add New Post page.
  The posts then appear on my Facebook Wall and therefore on my Facebook News Feed

  The images in your latest posts aren’t hosted at WordPress.com. I’m making an educated guess here, but I believe that’s the issue. If you post manually to Facebook, you should be able to choose whichever images you want, even ones hosted at Flickr.

  Thanks for this. It’s strange, because I am doing what I was always doing before (when they used to appear), which is pasting images into the post directly. I’ll try uploading them to WordPress first.

  Yes, when I upload them to WordPress, then they move into the Facebook post automatically; which doesn’t work if I just paste the images into my edit box. I’m not sure where the images are stored when I use the paste method – I thought it was somewhere on WordPress – but that’s a separate question. All I know is that something must have changed at the WordPress end, because the pasting method used to work in the past. Thanks for your help, and I’ll close the topic now
