-
I have tried making the images small, saving for web from photoshop, resizing in wordpress but this one post will not show the image that is imbedded in the post like all the others have and it is driving me crazy – what am I doing wrong
-
Could you link the post so I can take a look?
This support guide explains which images are shown in Facebook when you share a post or page from your site on Facebook: https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/
You can also use the Facebook debug tool linked in the above support guide: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
If you could share the post which is not showing images in the Facebook and I will be able to take a look for you.

Hey chaitanyamsv
it is at this link https://medicalgenealogist.wordpress.com/2016/01/21/treatment-resistant-depression/
I will check out the support links you sent
thank you -
This post has not featured image set on it so normally Facebook would choose the image embedded in it. But the image in your post is 102 X 92. Facebook expects at least 200×200 pixels in both width and height.
So you can do one of the following things:
1. Set a featured image for the post. Twenty Sixteen supports a large Featured Image, up to 1200px wide.
2. Increase the size of the embedded image to at least 200 X 200 pixels in both width and height.
Also make sure the aspect ratio of width and height no greater than 3; in other words, the width can’t be more than three times more than the height, and vice versa.
This is all explained in the https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/ support document I linked earlier. Please take a look and follow the guidelines suggested in it.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
