Images not displaying

Hi all, I am using the Neat template but my images (header, gravatar etc) are not displaying. I’ve had the same problem with the Ocean Mist template and others I have tried over the last couple of weeks. I have searched the forums for help but only found a closed thread relating to people using SKY as an ISP. I’m not on Sky, not in Australia, and am desperate to resolve this problem! Any suggestions, please.

Have you tried reloading the Template? Or loading another one, and switching back? I’m only offering things that you probably have tried, or at least, that I would be trying…Maybe just switch to another template, (theme) and then switch it back? Stranger things have happened. Good Luck

Thanks, Sonsofthunder – tried both your suggestions but still no joy. In the end I put in a support ticket and got a reply saying that all the img references in the css needing removing. I duly commented out all the img refs and all the images now show up on the site (with the exception of my gravatar, but I’m not bothered about that).
Weirdly, when I looked at the css again today all the img refs were gone! So I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes there.

As yours is a CSS problem and there is no Staff support for learning CSS, and as Staff have already told you the solution, I will flag this thread so our Moderators move it the the CSS Forum. There the Volunteers who offer CSS editing help will be more likely to locate the thread and help you sort out your problem. -
Thanks, timethief. I meant also to say that I hadn’t added or altered any of the img refs – they were all in the original template css. Thanks
