images not displaying in posts

  The images I have previously added to posts now appear as a box with a question mark in it.

  When I try to add a new image to a blog, it is recognising I am trying to insert an image, and the box with a question mark appears instead of the image.

  I have tried new post, different images and logging in and out. No change.

  Advice please. Thanks
