Images not Displaying on Blog PAge

Good morning!
I’ve setup a basic blog site – with a welcome screen, a blog page, and a couple of general content pages. On each of the Welcome and general pages, I have selected a Featured Image (I have already selected Featured Image in Screen Options) and my chosen images are being displayed. However, this isn’t happening on my Blog page.
I am using the default blog page and have uploaded and selected a picture to use as a featured image, but when I view the Blog page, there is no image displayed. Please can you help me understand what I am doing wrong?

The site https://orinocho.wordpress.com/ doesn’t have a Welcome page displayed, are you referring to a different site?
If you’re referring to that site, then it has the Libretto theme activated. On Libretto, you may tell the theme to display featured images on the blog page by placing a check in the box labelled “Display on blog and archives” at Customize > Content Options > Featured Images.
