Hi there!
It’s expected for the images to look smaller on mobile devices – could you show us exactly what you see and explain what was expected?
You can add a screenshot directly to your reply here. Thanks!

the images is not due to the screen size. All images are squashed. Here is the screenshot:
this is a square with circles.
thanks

Hey @artistcomments, I was able to replicate the issue for a bit there, and was troubleshooting on my own site, but now the problem seems gone. I’ve confirmed on my phone.
Can you confirm the site looks alright to you now? -
hi firstly thank you for being on this.
unfortunately the problem is still there on my mobile internet page for my website. the page has always loaded ‘shrunk’, it loads approx one third the size of my mobile screen lengthways. that is to say my blogs appear in the first third of the page to the left, like squashed, rather than a normal website where the whole screen is readable.
this squashing effect alters image uniformity, squares are rectangles etc. this is terrible for a visual artist where i need exact likeness of works.
as i write this i did a comparison. this appears to be a Samsung Internet browser problem? Opera browser loads correctly the image replication on mobile. S.I. does not. whilst images are correct on Opera i do still need to zoom in on text to fill the space. Opera loading of webpages takes up about two thirds across of the page instead of a normal full page website screen on mobile.
Other WP websites i tested load correctly, full screen. so this is a browser <and> my WP blog issue, or <just> my WP blog not loading correctly for some uncanny reason.
I don’t know if readers are experiencing this issue on their mobiles viewing my pages. tbh my WP does not get many views, sadly. however i do have quality views over quantity. my blog readers are a defined and specific audience i have to some extent cultivated personally.
thanks and regards
matt

Frankly, I saw squished images when I tested the site. Then it fixed itself as I was troubleshooting. Maybe a cache thing?
But if the entire site is squished, is there any chance you have opted to always show the desktop version of the site? I want to say Samsung has an option for that, so you may just need to turn it off.

thank you, problem resolved. Desktop version of Samsung browser correct over Mobile version. Likely the same with Opera.
best
Matt
