images not imported

Hi there,
I have the following link from which to import a recently deleted wordpress.com site [redacted by staff] . I have imported it twice now, and the posts, pages and menus all import perfectly. The problem is the media files and images are not being imported, can this be fixed?

PLEASE AMEND/EDIT MY ORIGINAL QUESTION: oops, I thought I was sending the previous question to a support team, now I realise it is posted on a public forum and the address for the zip file was not intended for public viewing – please can a moderator delete that line? (I can’t seem to edit the question even just immediately after posting it).
Also, the blog I need help with is not heartofengagement.wordpress.com (I have no idea why the posting questions system linked to that blog,) but was ashamanchester.wordpress.com though that no longer exists and has been deleted. -

If you’ve deleted the source site there is no way to import the images as they no longer exist.
The export file doesn’t contain the images themselves, only links to where they are stored in the media library. By deleting the site you’ve also deleted the media library, so those links now point to images that no longer exist.

aah ok, I thought that might be the case but needed to check just in case. **Sigh** C’est la vie!! Thanks for the reply.
