Images not linking automatically to media file

  Hi, Just noticed that images placed in a blog post are not linking automatically to the relevant media file. When I click on the image to edit, it says ‘Link to’ > None in the default setting. Is this a new tweak, i.e. will I have to manually select all images in future and link them to either an attachment page or a media file, so that they enlarge when clicked on? In the past, images have always automatically linked to the media file. Thanks in advance for your help.
