Images not loading in wordpress and on my site.

The images on my wordpress dashboard and website won’t load, and they are replaced with a blue box with a question mark. I contacted hostgator and they told me its a plugin issue. I researched different blogs online telling me to reset the plugins or deactivate them one by one, but nothing seems to work.
