Images not loading on Firefox
-
Hi,
I am having an issue with displaying images on my website when using Firefox. They open fine when I use Google Chrome but for some reason it does not work with other browsers (Firefox but also Safari).
I tried to browse the net to find some answers but I do not think that I have a cache problem or plugins that are causing the issue.
Your help would be much appreciated!

Hi there!
Can you give us more information about the problem?
If you’re still having this problem, please take a screenshot of the problem in question. If you’re not familiar with how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:

Then, reply to this thread and use the Image Block to add the image to your response.
Thanks!

Hi,
So this is for example the main page of the website, with my logo being correctly displayed when opening the site on Chrome:
And this is the same page being opened via Firefox, with the logo replaced by a blank square:

This happens for every image uploaded on the website.
Hope this helps a bit more. -
Hey there,
Many thanks for those screenshots.
This looks to be down to Firefox’s cookies and privacy settings, which Safari also suffers with.
I would recommend checking out this support doc from Mozilla, which has some helpful tips for when this happens: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-problems-images-not-show#:~:text=Related%20links-,Clear%20cookies%20and%20cache,clearing%20the%20cookies%20and%20cache.&text=to%20open%20the%20menu%20panel.&text=In%20the%20Time%20Range%20to,select%20both%20Cookies%20and%20Cache.
I hope this helps.

Thank you! I checked the link you sent but I was wondering if the solutions were not for fixing a problem when one has a problem with its own browser. I mean that I wouldn’t want the users going to my website to do these steps of troubleshooting as well when they are using Firefox.
For the moment it seems to be the case as the images were not showing when I tried to connect to the website with other computers or phones.

I wouldn’t be worried about about the missing image, personally. It’s annoying, I agree. But it’s not going detracting from the content or message of your site, and it’s not influencing how/if folks find their way to the site.
Something that needs consideration, though, is that the site is currently still set private. So it does not get indexed in search engines, and nobody can view it yet. Here’s where you adjust that setting to make the site visible to everyone:

Thank you for the answer. Weirdly enough, I can now view the images on every browser after putting the website in public mode!
Thanks for your help!
