Images not mobile responsive on premium theme

  I decided to give block themes a go and recently switched to the premium theme Carnation. I have customised my blog with the block theme editor. My blog looks great on my laptop/desktop screen but the images are not aligned on mobile. How do I fix the images for mobile viewing? Especially:

  1. The Feature image on the home page, which I’ve set to 600px height, 900px width, and Scale set to Contain, in the block theme editor. It looks way too big on mobile.

  2. The About image on the home page. It looks way too big on both desktop in mobile.

  3, The images in individual posts. Way too big on mobile. Note: I want and have set the width of one column individual posts to 804px in the block theme editor. Initially the images would not align to 804px; with a few lines of CSS I managed to fix that but still out of whack for mobile. It’s the only CSS I’ve used. I have the CSS upgrade and have some knowledge of CSS.

  I’m surprised by the lack of mobile responsiveness of the theme. Then again, block themes has been a learning curve for me and I’m happy with the progress made. Appreciate any help on fixing the responsiveness of the images. Thank you!
