Images not posting at the correct size.

    I have been posting images on my blog for years and I always post them the same size, everytime. Recently they are appearing MUCH smaller than my original postings, I’m not doing anything different so is this something WordPress is doing, resizing images for some unknown reason? Anyone else experience this? Whats going on?

    Howdy –

    I’ll be happy to take a look. Can you share an example of one of the older posts with the larger images? And a newer one with the smaller images? Provide those direct links and I can have a look.

    The problem could very well be that the theme set up on the site has been retired. It’s not updated or maintained any longer. It’d be best to look for a new one going forward. If you need help getting that set up we can definitely assist.

    Apparently now I thinks it’s an issue with my computer. The image starts out large than a few seconds later shrinks.
    But now the blog post from this morning is also failing to show up, it’s not showing up in my archives either. Today’s post does not show up if I google my blog either. Could this be a computer issue as well, when I tried to edit it shows no window for tags or categories either?? I have no idea whats going on..now it does not show up anywhere.

    Hi there,

    https://blessingsallover.wordpress.com/domino-club/ is a page, not a post. That’s why you don’t see it in your archives.

    If you go to My Site ->Pages you’ll see it there. You’ll need to copy that content into a new post instead if it was supposed to be a post.

    Today’s post does not show up if I google my blog either.

    That is normal. New content on a site won’t appear in search engines immediately as it first needs to be indexed after you publish it – that does not happen instantly, and with new pages can also take a bit longer than with new posts.
