images not showing

Please help. When I published my posts initially, all the images showed up but now some of them are showing up as empty boxes with little red “X”s in them. They are all there on the first page but several photos have disappeared from my previous entries or if I click on the title link for a particular post.
I purchased the space upgrade thinking it might be a space issue, but the problem has not been resolved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@wonderingsandwanderings how did you insert those images into your posts?
You’ve used relative URLs like this:
<img title="IMG_2861 copy" src="../files/2009/12/img_2861-copy.jpg" alt="" width="490" height="326" />The WordPress image tools don’t do that. URLs like that won’t work.

i upload/insert photos from my desktop directly into my post. unless i have many, in which case i upload a bunch and then insert them from my media library.

I use a Firefox 3.5.5 browser and I can see many large images on your front page. Have you tried refreshing your browser and clearing the cookies and cache and logging in again? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
Which browser and version of it are you using? -
everything is ok on the first page. it’s on my previous pages that the problem persists. tried clearing the cache but it didn’t fix the issue

I’m using the same browser and I went into your blog 3 pages deeper than the front page. I could see the images. I did not experience any missing images ie. empty boxes with little red X’s. Hence I have no idea how to help you except to suggest you for this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

in firefox, it shows up as vertical blue lines as opposed to X’s. do you see blue lines?

I’m seeing missing images as well. What you need to do is go into your media library and make sure that those images URL’s actually exist in the media library. If they do not, they they will not show up in the posts.

I think I found the issue. The URL’s for those images are malformed
This is what I see on one of the missing images

Hi,
I am having a similar problem with a site http://www.kent.ie. For some reason all the images are not showing up. The URL for the images look like this:
http://www.kent.ie/@RT_SITE_URL@/wp-content/rockettheme/wp_mynxx/home-hero.jpg
Dunno why this is happening or how to fix! If it is just a malformed URL like the problem above then how do I resolve that?Thanks,
