Images not showing on website when using Munchies Theme

  I would like to use the Munchies theme for my website. However, for some reason images are not being rendered in the Preview or on the Website. In the page editor I can see them as expected, but as soon as I try to preview the page the images no longer render. When checking the Network tab in my browser I can see that I get a 403 error code when my website tries to fetch the images. Any idea what to do here to get this to work?

  Is it a specific page? It would be helpful to see a screenshot. Also, please make sure to clear your browser’s cache.

  Hey! Thanks for the quick response. It’s happening on all of my pages and I did just try clearing my browser cache (and trying different browsers: Chrome and Safari) and that didn’t seem to help.

  Hey!

  I’m using Chrome and I do have some browser extensions. uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and Lastpass. I’ve tried disabling both uBlock and Privacy Badger, but that hasn’t seemed to help. Also I tried loading the page in Safari (with no extensions installed) and I continued to have the same problem.

  I’m not sure if this helps but I notice if I open the image in a new tab, then I am able to see it.

  Hi there,

  Thank you so much for the detailed information here. As a test, can you please try adjusting your site’s privacy settings at My Site → Settings → General

  From there, you should see your site privacy settings under Privacy. Try changing your site from Private to Coming Soon. This setting will still hide your site from others but should stop that image issue you are seeing.
