Images not showing up in posts from import

    Images not importing from xml file. When I import my xml file from an old wordpress blog only the text shows up. The images are importing into my media folder but they are not showing up in the actual posts. Is there something I can do to fix this?

    Hi there!

    Since you are importing contents from a blog of a different address, the image source property in your blog posts have to be adjusted to reflect the new blog address.

    As an example: if you’re moving from “kristingennaphotography.wordpress.com” to “kgennaphoto.wordpress.com”, you will need to edit the image tag as:

    <img src="http://kristingennaphotography.wordpress.com/image.jpg" />

    to

    <img src="http://kgennaphoto.wordpress.com/image.jpg" />

    You may do this in text mode of your post editor.

    I do see two posts in your new blog and their image tags correctly referencing to the source files. Were you able to sort it out on your own?
