images not showing up in size specified

  Hello, I’m having some trouble inserting images in the size I want them onto my blog.

  When I insert the image into my post, the only option provided is “decrease size” or “increase size.” I used to be able to set a specific width & height for each image. I tried doing so directly in the HTML, but when viewing the post, the changes did not apply. I’ve also tried directly editing the images directly in Media –> Library, but even after scaling them there and re-inserting them into the post, they still don’t show up in the size indicated.

  How can I edit the image sizes and have them show up properly in my post?

  Managed to fix it!

  Had to go to Customize –> CSS –> Media Width: “Set a different content width for full size images. The default content width for the Oxygen theme is 470 pixels.”

  That was the problem. Increased the default content width and the images show up perfectly!
