Images not showing up on blog post – the server responded with a status of 404 (not found)

  Hi guys,

  I’m trying to publish a blog post but every time I preview it about 1/2 the images are missing. I inspected it in the Chrome browser and it returned this error:

  ‘the server responded with a status of 404 (not found)’

  I changed the permissions, but still no images.

  Not sure what to do next.

  Hi,

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.

  Hope this gets fixed soon!
