Images Not Shown
-
Hi. (My website is private.) I use Loïc theme. Some of my posts have images in them. But they are not visible on the home page unless I click on the post individually (when I check while logged in, so it is not about the website being private.) How can I make them always visible?
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hello,
Not all themes support full display of blog posts without clicking on the post title.
If your chosen theme supports loading all pictures, but it is only showing the post excerpt, you can change that by following the instructions here:
https://wordpress.com/support/customizer/content-options/#blog-display
I hope this helps! -
To make your post images visible on the home page with the Loïc theme, you’ll likely need to set a Featured Image for each post. Here’s how:
- Edit the Post: Go to your post editor.
- Set a Featured Image: In the post settings sidebar, locate the Featured Image option, upload or select an image, and save the changes.
- Update the Post: Click Update to save your post.

The theme you’ve chosen is one of those that doesn’t display images on the homepage. Have a look at the theme’s showcase page https://wordpress.com/theme/loic
Being a Site editor theme, you could modify the homepage template to include a Featured image if you wish. https://wordpress.com/support/templates/edit-a-template/
If you are just getting started, you might consider changing themes to a theme that does display images on the homepage.
