Images off to the right only in Firefox

Could someone take a look at my blog in Firefox and IE Explorer? http://www.HomeschoolBytes.com
I have 2 problems:
1. When I try to center an image that I upload using the WordPress uploader, the image looks great in IE, but in Firefox, it is bumped over into the right sidebar. The only thing I can do is change the image to “no alignment” to keep it out of the right sidebar in Firefox. I’d really like to have my photos centered.

I have this unknown bar that pops up across the top of my uppermost post, covering up the first line of the title, but again, ONLY in Firefox. I don’t know where this is coming from or how to remove it. Any ideas?

I’m not sure what I did to get this. I was updating my Hotmail/Live profile. I believe I selected to be able to link to WordPress blogs (which I belong to).
Anyway, nothing to do – I’m done.
