Images on front pages (not actual blog posts)

  Hello,
  Is there a way to resize the images on the main pages? When I upload an image to a blog, it inserts just fine and I can change the size, but the size doesn’t get reflected in the short blog description on the main pages. What I am finding is that the tops of photos can get cut, in partcular, people’s heads in the photos. Is there a way to resize just the images there?

  thanks. if you visit bridalista.com, and scroll down half way down the page, you will see 2 posts called Wedding Gown Wednesday – each othose phots get cut in that page but if you click on it to read the post, it;s fine.

  Go into your dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to ‘Account Details’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.

  All that said, I see you are using the theme “Pretty Young Thing”

  That is a premium theme which you purchased. You should have access to support from the theme designers as explained here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/

  We volunteers do not have access to experiment with, learn about, nor test premium themes so our advice here is based only on guesses. Best for you to use the access button associated with your upgrade.

  But here is a guess: the cropping has something to do with featured images and what size they need to be. Likely you will have to crop your images (which you want to be “featured”) to the size required by your theme. Something along these lines:

  But as I explained, we don’t have access to details concerning premium themes.
