Images on my blog appear stretched on Internet Explorer

Forgive me if this has been answered many times.
Just so you know I’m a complete beginner at blogging. I recently found out from a friend that the images on my blog posts look stretched and out of proportion on Internet Explorer. I’m using Bueno theme and it looks fine on Mozilla Firefox (the browser I use).
It’d be great if anyone can offer some advice! =D

G’day,
The maximum displayed image size for the Bueno theme is 40 pixels.

To obtain the best image quality possible you must presize the image to the exact size prior to uploading it to your blog. Doing that means the cropping tool will not be used. This article is on point How good is WordPress at resizing and resampling your images?
Best wishes with your blog. :) -
I also note that you have not stated which IE browser version you are referring to above. If you are referring to IE9 then this article is on point >
IE9 not quite ready for WordPress.com prime time -
@TT, you missed a digit there, the max image width is 499 without caption and 490 with caption.
