Images on Page not displaying at correct size

  Hi

  Working of a template portfolio site I am using the upload media button to add images from my gallery that are 1024x 1700. In the gallery they display at this dimension. However when added to the page they are shrunk and the path to them displays. I have gallery on the about page but this is a separate page so it should not be affected?

  Is seems to be adding a medium size arbitrarily to all the images somewhere? How can I insert them into the page at the correct size?
