Images re-sizing

    Hi,

    I’m struggling with my site, I use a premium theme and really like the look and layout of my site so I don’t really want to change.

    But I need to fix this. Being a photographer, my images need to be clear and tac sharp. I resize correctly before uploading and the images look crystal clear on my screen – however when I upload them WordPress is doing something to the images on my site. They go really soft and just don’t look right, but if you actually click on the image then it shows it as being sharp (as it should) – I presume this is something to do with either the theme resizing the images to 726px long side or something to do with compression. Either way, I need to fix it.
