Images shifting in Image Grid

  In my theme (MistyLook) I have Top Posts & Pages widget with Image Grid. If I overlay an image on the left column, all the lower images on the grid shift to the right.
  How can I fix this?

  Yes, I found something similar for the Oxygen theme (here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/2-column-grid-layout-bug-in-oxygen-theme?replies=1#post-955293), but the fixing needs a css customization.
