Hi there, you can add image captions when you insert images into posts or pages, or you can edit existing images to add captions. To edit existing images, open the post or page in the editor, click on the image and then click on the edit icon and you can input your caption and then update the image and the caption will appear below your image. For more on image settings and captions, take a look at this Support Page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/

Thanks thesacredpath, but my problem is to have the image without the caption and make it appear when I put my mouse pointer over the image. Can you help me on this issue?

If you add image captions to images put into pages and posts on Widely, that is how they will appear. They will show below the image when looking at the post in the image editor, but will slide up when the image is hovered when on the site itself.

it seems that don’t work with me…they are static as you can see on the link to my site https://agendaportugal.wordpress.com/imprensa/…

Ah, I’m sorry, I just looked closer, and the groups of 3 images are galleries, not individual images. They are set up as square and they have specified the image ids they want in each gallery.
In Widely, the captions on galleries will slide up when an image is hovered. For more on setting up galleries, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/ .
Again, sorry for not looking closer.
