Images suddenly not displaying

More WordPress/Chrome funny business…
Chrome suddenly stopped loading either of the WordPress blogs:
http://geotopoi.wordpress.com/
http://lustrebox.wordpress.com/
giving the error “The connection to geotopoi.wordpress.com was interrupted.”
Everything is just dandy in Opera on the same machine.
Deleting Chrome’s cookies for the two domains cured the problem.
Did you ever get to the bottom of what the problem with WordPress and Chrome cookies is?
-
I had probs earlier today. No wordpress blogs would load –not just my own either, except on chrome. I cleared the cookies and now it is ok. The other prob seems fine now. My images are all back. And wordpress certainly worked hard to correct that one whatever it was.
-
We have not been able to figure out definitively what’s going on here. Do you experience the same issue if you log on at a different location? Also, is the issue with *all* sites on WordPress.com, or just some of them?
-
It is all working fine now for me anyway. Maybe just a cookie but the problem was with all wordpress sites even the log in page, the support pages, the lot, except on chrome. As I say I cleared the cache and then it was fine.

Looks like we have a widespread problem in the UK https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cant-access-my-dashboard-or-support-forums?replies=9#post-1689919

Yep, looks like this has gotten worse since the thread was posted. We believe this is related to the previous Talk Talk issue but this time with British Telecom and Sky.
See the following thread for more details:

I’m in Scotland. Have not been able to load dashboard starting last night and all of today. I have talk talk

I am in Scotland too and have BT. I found that clearing the cookies sorted it for me and I think your prob sounds very similar . But obvi I don’t know if it will sort it for you.

Thanks. No tried that and didn’t make any difference. I’m on talk talk not BT. I was on another thread earlier about the same complaint but can’t find it now. Same problem and starting over the last couple of days.

I was fine in Google chrome. It’s such pussie when it doesn’t work for you though and it’s obviously relating to some users but not everyone.
