Images suddenly too large
-
Recently I noticed that most of the images on my wife’s illustration site are way oversized. I’ve found by converting the old posts to blocks it fixes it but there are way too many old ones to do this to every one. What can I do?

Hi there,
Can you please tell us the URL of the site you’re working on, and give an example of a post that shows the images at the wrong size?
-
Sorry for the delay but I didn’t get any notification that anyone had responded to my question.
Hopefully you’ll still see this.
The URL of the site is sketchedout.wordpress.com.
From there if you scroll down quite a ways you’ll get to where the images are way oversized, starting with the post titled “Inktober 2019 Day 18.
October 18, 2019,” and every post prior to that. Clicking on that post or any other ones renders the image correctly, it’s just on the main page when you scroll down far enough.
This was never the case before but I don’t know how long it’s been doing that.
I’ve tried everything I can think of to figure it out and it happens in virtually every modern browser and OS.
Thanks for you help. -
Actually, it’ll be faster for you to start scrolling from here: https://sketchedout.wordpress.com/page/2/

Thanks, I see what you mean. It looks like it’s a theme but, but I see this one was retired several years ago. I can file a request on it but it may be a while before it gets updated.
Would you two be willing to update to a newer theme? Images will be slightly bigger, but the site will be responsive to phones and smaller devices.
For two column options, try these:
