  Hi
  I am using the publish theme and do not have wordpress premium so can not use custom css. I have been trying to make images which are links in my portfolio change from one image to another when the viewer hovers the mouse over the image link but I have had no luck so far.

  I also would like to change the links in my navigation bar on the left side of my website from blue to black.

  I would really appreciate any help! I have been told I need to buy premium to do both of these things but I know it is achievable without as I have seen it done

  Hi there. The only way to do these things are via CSS. I don’t know where you’ve seen it done without CSS, but it wasn’t on WordPress.com. And to make any CSS changes you’ll need the Custom Design upgrade.
