The last two days I have not been able to upload images. In both of my blogs.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you go to upload images, are you doing so by going to the “Add Media” button and selecting images on your hard drive to upload, or are you trying to add images by dragging them directly into your post?

Are you receiving any error messages?

Please provide more details on how you’re adding the images, how large the images are, and which browser you’re using, so I can look into this further.

Hello Jackie, I normally upload them with a size around 200 Kb up to 800 Kb maximum. And normally I “prepare” them and save them on my external hard disc. I use the “add media” button to select them and to upload.

And normally I do not have any problem, but the last two weeks lots of times I got the message “error” _ no more detailed message.

    I use Firefox.

    Thank you

What is the file extension for the images – are they .jpg, .png, etc.

Could you try a different browser to see if that makes a difference or not? It could be a connection issue rather than a browser issue, and that would help to narrow things down.

Normally it is .jpg. Yesterday I was able to upload images without any problem, today I tried it twice and decided at the end to leave it for tomorrow.

This week I will change the operating system to Linux, may be the problem is Windows and the “age” of my PC.

Let me know how it goes. I’ve seen a few issues with Firefox and it could be related to the browser, but possibly not. The more information you can provide, however, the easier it will be to troubleshoot this for you and others, so if it works when you switch to Linux that would be useful information to have.

Jackie, thank you for your help. I will change during the next week and tell you about the experience.
