Images won't center align
-
When I put my images in originally on my pages they were centered. Then I went back and added alt text to them a couple days later and now they all align right. I can’t move them back to the center! I’ve done the obvious solutions and in my editing screen they look centered. But when I preview them on my site, they’re all left aligned! I’ve tried some other suggestions like
.aligncenter, div.aligncenter {
display: block;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
.alignleft {
float: left;
}
.alignright {
float: right;
}
but maybe I don’t know where to put them. I’ve tried copy/paste that to the CSS editor and I even got a plug in that let you add CSS to pages/posts to no avail. I’ve read and tried some things on the forum but perhaps I’m not putting that fix in the right place? Please help! this is my website for my business and I’m using the 2015 theme:

You may not need CSS editing but you may need to upgrade your browser at http://browsehappy.com or try another browser.
re: image alignment
Align-left means position left, with the rest of the content wrapping around the right side of the image.Align-right means position right, with the rest of the content wrapping around the left side of the image.
Align-center means position center, with no wrap-around (= the rest of the content below the image).
If the text beside the images does not occupy the same amount of space that the image beside it does then the text wrapping will continue and the images and text that follow will have a staggered appearance.
To prevent the staggered effect what you do is insert the following snippet of code into the Text (HTML) editor after each image/text pair:
<div style="clear:both;"></div> -

Sorry that still didn’t fix the problem. Is it perhaps embedded in the theme? I really don’t want to switch that. Where and what exactly should I put in the CSS editor or my plug in? Thanks.
