Images won't display in full uploaded size in posts
-
Hi there. I’m uploading my images in 800×600 size and want them to display in my posts and front page in 800×600. The images in a post will only display in about 500px wide, but when you click on them you can view in full 800×600. As it is there’s small pictures and a whole lot of blank space.
How do I make my pictures show in posts in 800×600, or even 1024×768 which I may switch to soon?
Cheers, Andrew. http://www.anygivenreason.com

The size of images displayed on your blog is based on the content width that a particular theme supports so that they don’t overlap with the sidebar or other aspects of the page itself.
Currently you are using the Twenty Eleven theme which has a content width of 584px so images will be limited to that width when included in posts.
If you want to have your images displayed at a larger size then you have a couple of options:
- You can switch to a theme with a wider content width which is designed to showcase your photos – http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ideation-and-intent/
- You can purchase the Custom Design upgrade and use CSS and the limit width option to expand the width of your site to display larger photos
