Images won’t upload : error message “IO”

  Hello people,

  Thus far I’ve been uploading images without a hitch, but today, ‘t would not work anymore – not even after a Firefox restart. The upload window says “IO error” in red, and that’s that.

  Have tried over the course of hours, and with different kinds of images.

  Since I haven’t seen anyone else reporting this, it is likely something either at your end, or between you and wordpress.

  If you are on DSL or cable modem, reboot the modem. Also, do a complete shutdown on your computer and start it up again. If that works, then it was either an issue with your computer or modem. If it doesn’t, it could be something on the internet between you and the wordpress datacenters.
