imagine not displaying on FB post

  I have tried to post multiple times, changed my image, changed the size, debugged the link. Nothing… I have no clue why my image will not appear with my post. It’s just a blank white box. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Shouldn’t be so difficult to fix…

  I’m sorry but we cannot help with this. We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  The problem I’m having is that it is no different from any of my photos on my previous posts, that have shown up on FB. I’ve tried to debug through FB and it appears to show the image but when I go to actually post, it is blank. As if it’s a wordpress issue, not FB… Just curious if anyone else has had this problem and how they fixed it. I’ll look more closely at the links you shared, but I have looked through some of this already. I seem to be doing everything correct, until I actually post… very frustrating. Thank you for your response though – timetheif ;).

  Hi there,

  I checked this post you mentioned: http://ladybugsjumpingbeans.wordpress.com/2014/12/04/12-caught-in-the-storm/

  I put that link in the Facebook debugger, and then I clicked the “Fetch new scrape information” button there. That fixed the error message Facebook was giving about the image in the post, and now when I share your post on Facebook it includes the image.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!

  Hmm. Thanks for checking out my issue Rachelmcr! I tried the debugger a few times. I guess I didn’t know about “fetch new scrape information”. I’ll do that next time!! Still learning all about blogging and sharing my info… I really appreciate the help!
