Imbalance2 Theme
-
Hi. I am not sure if my question has been posted in this area or not, but – I am trying to work with Imbalance2. I am new to all this, and don’t even know how to add content. I’ve been to the Imbalance2 support forum, but believe they forwarded me to WP. I wish themes came with manuals.
My question is: how do I create that 4 column grid?
Thank you
Miranda

The detailed theme description for the WordPress.com theme version is found here.
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/imbalance2/Imbalance 2 offers two layout options, fluid and fixed.
Fluid means the width changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
Fixed means the width does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
Column one is the blog title and tagline; you edit them in Settings > General.
Columns two and three are for two menus; you create and load them in Appearance > Menus – instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Column four is for widgets; you add them in Appearance > Widgets. -
Thanks. I understand about columns 1, 2, 3, and menus. But column 4 – just widgets? How do I add photos to the area below the header?

Howdy!
@timethief is correct, column four can be configured by adding some widgets under Appearance -> Widgets. You can read more about widgets here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/You can add Featured Images to your posts following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-imageThis will add photos to the content area below the header.
I hope this helps!
