Immediate cancellation of subscription and domain.

How do I immediately cancel subscription and domain. I don’t have the time or patience to wait until my renewal is up.

Please provide the URL for the domain in question in the form of an active link starting with http:// if you want help.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and cancel at > Store > My Upgrades
Please keep in mind that cancelling (or not renewing) a domain means that you give up ownership of that domain name completely. There’s no guarantee that you will be able to register that domain again in the future, either here at WordPress.com or with another registrar.

Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ Are you clear on that? Or is that why you want to cancel?

I want to also discontinue the yearly subscription. I opted out of automatic annual billing. I can see I will be billed in August 2014, but I have not way of cancelling the charges. What do I do next?

Instructions on cancelling domain:
Cancel Domain“If you notify us within two days of purchase you may cancel a domain name purchased through WordPress.com and receive a full refund. After cancellation, there is no guarantee that the domain will become available to register somewhere else and you may not be able to get it back.
To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account, then go to Store → My Upgrades and use the “Cancel” link in the Subscription Status column. If it’s more than 2 days past the purchase date, you will not receive a refund, but the domain can still be canceled by contacting support.”
WHERE IS THE CANCEL BUTTON?

The cancel button is only visible when the upgrade is eligible to be canceled –
you need to disable the Auto Renew – then the upgrade will just run out – the staff can cancel an upgrade for you but it will not save you any money and all that will do is save you getting the renewal emails

PS – for domains the cancel button can only be done / seen FROM WHEN IT WAS FIRST REGISTERED – the domain mapping cancel will only show up AFTER it is renewed then for only 30 days I think

Auto Renewal is not enabled. Let’s hope it runs out. This is the worst subscription I have ever seen. Feels like a marriage and divorce. I wasted half the day pouring through obscure instructions that loop and link to one another.

I can cancel that domain for you now, if you’d like. Just to confirm, you’d like to immediately cancel the domain name zentigress.com. Is that right?
Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.
If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can transfer it instead: Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar
