What if you try it again? I know it doesn’t duplicate the posts or the comments. I did some playing around with this one a couple of days ago to see what it would do. I think it will keep track of the ones that are not in and bring them in. If not, report back and maybe we can search around for a thread that might help.

hi, i would like to import my posting from blogspot to wordpress.. but i do not know how to go about doing it.. pls advice if possible.. appreciate your help.. thanks alot.. =)

If you go to Dashboard > Manage > Import, you can click on the Blogger import feature. You’ll need to have upgraded to one of the newer Blogger (Beta?) accounts. If you’ve done that, then just click authorize and it should take you through the rest of the steps as you go. Hope that helps. :)

have done the same this as wordpress asked me to do 10 days a go and at the 1st time got 600 posts transfered ( out of 907 ) redone the import feature and now only get 311 posts and so many of themare duplicates ? any idea how to rectify that problem ?
thanks -
Unfortunately if the importer isn’t working, I don’t know of anything you can do except to try again, perhaps using a different browser. Supposedly you’re not supposed to get duplicates, so if it keeps happening it’s something staff would need to look at in order to help you. Have you contacted support about it?

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=19300&page&replies=3#post-147185The only other thing I could suggest is setting up a WordPress.org blog on a free host so you could import your posts there, and from there into WP.com; I’m not sure if it would work but it might be worth a try. For anything other than that, though, you’ll need staff help.
