  Hi
  I have a problem.
  I bought a theme for portfolio and i know how to install but i can’t do it.
  I opened an account but in the dashboard idon’t have an upload button.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot upload any third party themes into a WordPress.COM hosted blog so be clear on that. The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs like your blog are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
  upload any third party themes,
  create child themes,
  create our own themes,
  edit templates,
  create own own layouts,
  or use stylesheets from other themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

  Thank you, but i realy do’nt understand, i bought a theme that fit to the wordpress.

  Do i need to pay for the account and after that i’ll get a premmision to upload?

  The theme you bought can only be used on a WordPress.ORG software install. You cannot use it on this blog http://avivitblumstein.wordpress.com/ or on any WordPress.COM blog. Are you clear on that now? You have to get a refund for it if you blog here or move to hosting your own WordPress.ORG install.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. You cannot use a WordPress.ORG theme on a WordPress.COM blog.

  Thank you for the quick reply!

  I bought today a theme from “enavato market”, the support team wrote me: “Alona is a WordPress theme. Install it on your WordPress configuration and you can start working on it.”

  You cannot use a WordPress.ORG theme from the envato market on a WordPress.COM blog.

  Have you got that yet?

  If you intend to blog here at WordPress.COM then get a refund.
