  Hi! Cant get the importer to start as it seems stuck? It doesn’t finish the job importing all posts in the file.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
  2. if yes, what is the URL?
  3. How large is the XML export file?
  4. Did you remove advertising an un-approved comments before creating the XML export file?
  5. Did you receive any error messages? If so, post them here please.

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the XML export file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the XML export file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

  Hi there,

  Which importer did you use? I checked the WordPress importer on your site and don’t see any stuck imports there.

  File size was 8.5 mb and it was WP importer XML. But the problem is now solved, thank you anyway!
