  I’m trying to import posts from an xml file but it’s not going through. I started it yesterday but it says it’s still processing. Is that normal?

  Hi there,

  It looks like the importer on your site has stalled, so I’ve reset it for you. You’ll be able to try again now.

  How big is your file? If it’s close to or more than 15MB big, that could be why it’s stalling. In that case, please try splitting the file up into smaller pieces before trying to import again:

  Thank you so much! I’ve split the xml files but the importer still says it’s processing the too big file. Can you try resetting it again?

  Are you using the WordPress importer, or one of the other importers?

  You should be able to start a new import with the WordPress importer. If it’s still showing you the in-progress message, please try clearing your browser cache.
