I started importing my blog from onet.pl platform about 3 days ago. I have access to all my pictures but my post from old blog still didn’t appear there. The importing tool says it is still in progress, but it’s way over 24 hours now. What should I do?

I have tagged this thread with “modlook” to ensure that the wonderful WordPress staff are notified and are able to further assist you.
In the meantime, could you please answer the following questions so they are better able to understand what is happening during your import:
1. How large is the .xml file you are attempting to import? If you are attempting to import an .sql file, please know that it is not possible to do so.
2. Did you receive any error messages? If so, can you please include what the message was?
3. What exact importer did you use?
4. What is the site address you exported the file from?Thank you!

The XML file is 2923KB big, and I don’t recall any error messages. The site I exported this file from was a blogging platform for onet.pl- the polish portal, and since it was marked as a WordPress-based platform I used the WordPress importing tool.

The importer sometimes get stuck. I’ve reset it now, so please try importing your file again.
If you have a large number of comments on your site, please go through them and try deleting any comments that are spammy or really low quality. If the ration of comments to posts is too high, as on a site that gets lots of spam comments, that can sometimes cause the importer to fail.
