  Hi I am using and testing the free blog. I started a test of import where I first exported the content of my other WordPress blog and it was downloaded to my PC about 1GB. I started importing to my wordpress blog https: //jbankethomsenblog.wordpress. com / import has been running for several days how can i stop it?

  Hi Jorgen,

  I’ve reset the importer for jbankethomsenblog.wordpress.com. I recommend clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page before try again, just to make sure you have a fresh start.

  I first exported the content of my other WordPress blog and it was downloaded to my PC about 1GB

  15MB is the maximum supported size for imports so you’ll want to make sure the .xml file isn’t any larger — otherwise you will need to export several smaller files or split the existing .xml file into multiple smaller files and import them one by one.

  I have reset my browser (Google) and cleared browser data, import is now stopped and the blog works as expected.
