  my blog in tumblr is not importing, i’ve been waiting for so long

  Hello there!

  How long has it been since starting your import?

  The importer is handling a large amount of request per minute. It is important to stay connected and stay patient. Once you start the import it gets queued and then you just have to give it time.

  A recent update from staff:

  Be patient & stay connected: Our importer is constantly processing thousands of posts a minute, but the backlog is very big so please be patient – it might be a few days before your import will start once it’s queued. Do not disconnect Tumblr; just allow the import to continue.

  Please assure that you have plenty of storage space for the import to take place once started. The free WordPress.com accounts include 3GB of storage space. If you have a large import, you should consider a plan upgrade.

  If you do believe your import stalled or may have stopped because you are over your storage space limit, we can add the appropriate tags to this post to have a staff member take a look (modlook and tumblr import).
