Hi there!
Sorry to hear that! I’ll be happy to assist you with this.
May I ask where you’re importing your content from? Do you have another WordPress site hosted elsewhere? Please tell us more about the process you’re following to import, and we’ll be happy to help you further.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to learn more about the site you’re creating with us. Would you mind telling us more about your new site? What’s the site for, and what features do you need on the site? Based on your site requirements, we’ll be happy to share specific guides and suggestions and help you accordingly.
As a side note, did you know you could get faster support with a WordPress.com plan? The WordPress.com Personal plan, which gives you access to email support and enables the ability to use a custom domain, is a great starting point. You can always upgrade later if you need more features.
Thanks!

I am importing from my account on Blogger.com to my WordPress account. This is a link to the site https://www.blogger.com/blog/posts/1067988312424233637

On my site, I write about my thoughts on various issues. My musings. I am having difficulty however creating a simple yet practical site. I am currently using the Calyx theme. I find it a bit too intense and would like something simpler. Maybe you can recommend another one? I am still trying to figure things around and would like to know how to make it easier to access posts, comments, and categories in one interface.

Alright, let’s first focus on importing your content. Do you have the XML file from your Blogger site? If so, you will want to upload it here: https://wordpress.com/import/jovial-joykiruki.wordpress.com.
Do you still see the 403 error when trying that?
As for the theme, it sounds like you’re looking to create a more classic blog page, where all the content can be easily accessible? If so, maybe you’ll like more one of the themes from here:
https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/blog/jovial-joykiruki.wordpress.com.
Bear in mind that if you’d rather have us build your site for you and take care only of your content, we do provide a service like that:
https://wordpress.com/website-design-service/.
If you’d like to learn more about doing stuff yourself, we have lots of resources here:
