    My Wix website isn’t importing and I need it done by Thursday! I get an ‘Oops, something went wrong…’

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there @clearlines2023, I’m not sure why Wix throws that error sometimes, but it’s tough to get past.

    Would you be able to copy over the content manually? Generally here’s what I’d recommend:

    • Go to https://wordpress.com/page and create each page of your site.
    • Use the same name / link if possible (so if you have a services page on wix, call it services here) to help preserve SEO/social links
    • Choose a layout you like; you can substitute the pictures and text with the ones you’re using on your live site
    • Publish, then get the next page done.
    • When all of the pages are moved over (and blog posts if you have any can be made here) you can set up the site’s front page / adjust styling as needed, and connect the domain

    And if that won’t work for you, could you share a link to the site so we can see what other options are available? Thanks in advance!
