Import

Hi! I have a import from Webbly that I’m trying to use. It’s a zip file that contains a folder with HTML files and media. What’s the best way to import this? I can’t upgrade to use the plugins because the small business that I represent is currently trying to make the decision if they want to move away from Webbly or not, and cannot afford to spend any money until they decide what GUI to go with. Thanks so much!

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. As far as I know you have two options. If you go in dashboard>tools> import>Choose from full list, you’ll see that WordPress doesn’t have an import tool for Webbly so:
    – Option 1: Convert your site to one of the platforms mentioned there, such as Blogger, and then importing your site from Blogger to WordPress.com.
    – Option 2: You mentioned that you have a zip with HTML files. If you can export the content of your blog to .xml files, you can import using the WordPress importer.
