Import a WP.Com blog to WP.org blog

    I wanna know is it feasible to transfer a blog from WP.com to WP.org . If yes then how and if no then so bad.

    Help me….

    If i say transfer then it means it all backlink and post and comments

    Yup, to get your content, go Dashboard -> Manage -> Export and save the *.xml file to your desktop. When you get to your new blog, Dashboard -> Manage -> Import to upload the *.xml file.

    But can you do it the other way around? I have a WP.org blog, but its on a friend’s server and he isn’t going to maintain things. Can I somehow transfer it? I can’t find an “export” function under the WP.org blog, only a “backup” but I obviously don’t have access to the mySQL on WP.com :-/
