Import appears stalled & Confusing emails

Started importing over 36 hours ago. It was slow but steady but then I got an email about 4 hours after I started stating I had reached my limit. I clicked on the link in the email but the page I went to told me it was fine and that it would show me the Plans for my information.
Now, over 24 hours since that email, the import seems to have stalled and I have no clue whether I need to do something or not! Help would be appreciated.

If this is regarding tumblr, no need to worry there seems to be the same exact problem now for everyone as there seems to be a bit of a traffic jam. I’d suggest holding tight while the wordpress staff figures out exactly whats going on. If nothing happens again within the next 24 hours feel free to contact support again.

Thanks, it is a Tumblr import.
I’m hoping it is just a log jam but it did say to message if it was slow. The entire import was slow from the start, which was fine, but it hasn’t twitched in hours now!
But again the “Tumblr Apocalypse” is 17 December so maybe a lot of people panicked today and started importing.

Hi there,
It looks like the import on your site has stopped because you reached the 3GB limit of the free plan.
You can upgrade to a paid plan which will give you more storage space and then restart the import. All the posts and media files that are already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer.
