I too am having the same issues trying to import my blogger account. Tumblr worked fine but for some reason Blogspot keeps looping me back after granting access? What the what?

Same problem here.
I did import my blog a couple of weeks ago and it worked fine.
I tried again a couple of times last week it did work one time but stopped working again.Tried to import another blogger blog, just in case the issue might be on my blogger blog’s side, same result, it didn’t work.
I am able to authorize it but as soon as I did it, I am back to the page where wordpress want’s me to authorize it.
Can’t import it through the uploader, my file is over 50MB.
If anybody knows how to convert a blogger XML file to a WXR (there are online apps but they have also a limited file size) or simply an app that can split a blogger XML file. This might help out those who have huge XML files.

Same issues here. I can authorize but then the blog doesn’t show up. I have tried on two browsers. It worked before 2 weeks ago.

Since there are a few different people posting here:
If you are having trouble with Blogger imports, please try to do a “manual” import where you get the export file from Blogger and then upload it using the Blogger tool, rather than connecting directly with Blogger. That usually will work when the automatic import tool fails.
Also, if you have done multiple import attempts, be sure to check to make sure your posts aren’t showing up in the Trash, as that may happen if our system detects multiple imports, to ensure that the second import doesn’t create duplicate content.
If you cannot get the import to work at all, please confirm that you have tried a manual import.
If the importer starts, but gets hung up in the middle, let me know that you need the importer reset, and I can take care of that for you.
@franr0d, I have reset your importer. Please try the manual import process.
@patrickbecker87989769 due to the size of your export, if you can upload your export file to Dropbox or a similar file sharing service and let me know, we can process your import manually.

When will the import blogger be fixed? I can export the blogger file but all I get is this:

Please do not try connecting your site to Blogger. That process appears to be malfunctioning at this time.
Instead, please go to Blogger and get your export file, and then under “Have a Blogger export file?”, find the file on your computer, and then manually upload and import.

Hi everyone, I have the same issue. I am trying to transfer my blogger blog to wordpress. When clicking on authorize, it takes me to next page where I confirm and than loops back to the original page asking again to authorize. I can not use the manual import through exported blogger file, because that is way over 15MB. Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is this:

I won’t be updating my wordpress blog anytime soon until the malfunction is fixed.

Again, this is easily resolved by using the manual upload process, which should only take slightly longer on your end.
@plumfoolery, for large imports such as yours, it’s best that staff assist you with the import. Please upload the file somewhere that I can download it, such as Dropbox, and then open a new support thread in the forums with the tag ‘modlook’ or contact me via email with my name in the subject line to send me a link, and I’d be happy to assist you further.
